We're Dueling Again!

That's right! The Dueling Darlings are at it again! We're going another round :)
April C. sent out this month's kit and wow, what a cute one it was. There were all kinds of Valentine"y" papers, black glittery c/s, mirror c/s, all kinds of ribbons and pearls and images and sentiments and, and, and......... You should have seen it all! I have plenty of leftovers to do 1 or 2 more cards! Thanks April :)
I went a little punchy crazy with this card...
After I used the mirror c/s as my base....I realized how hard it was going to be to photograph it. Oh well, I tried to stand off to the side, but you still can see my lime green shirt I had on while getting the pic! LOL! I loved the little pom-poms April sent. They were strung on wire so you could turn and line it any way you wanted. With the black glittery paper I used my 3 heart punch. With a couple of the Valentine papers I used my scalloped circle punch. I used the inkpad watercolor technique to color my cherub, ain't he cute?
I hope you get a chance to look at all the other Darlings blogs. They are listed in my left sidebar.
Thanks for visiting today.
Until next time...
Blessings...

SUO Challenges Are "Rolling" Along

Hi everybody!

I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted to my little 'ole blog.

Being between houses is proving to be challenging in the uploading department. I get confused trying to use Mom's software. You know, when you get use to doing it your way, then have to learn a new way, well it just kind of throws you for a loop.

Anywho, I made a card for this week's SUO Challenge, to use your Stampin' Around Wheels. I truly don't use them as much as I'd like. They are just not my go to stamps. I loved getting them out though and playing.

My hubby and I celebrated 13 years of marriage yesterday and this is the card I gave him...

Supplies:

Paper ~ Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Basic Gray

Ink ~ Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black

Stamps ~ Baroque Motifs, Baroque Border wheel, Well Scripted (I think?)

Accessories ~ Big Shot, Circles #2 die, Top Note die, Basic Black grosgrain ribbon

Red is hubbs favorite color, so I wanted to work that into the card. It's very hard for me to make masculine cards. I hope this one fits the bill. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Until next time...

Blessings...
