You are so Sweet!

Hello!

I'm sorry it has been a few days since I posted. I am very busy with homeschool (yes, we started this week....*sad*) and getting my challenge blog up and running.

I did have time to finish this page though.

I followed a sketch found at Let's Get Sketchy

I used some larger brads from the LadyBird collection by Prima. After I added those....I liked the look of the silver on the page and started adding more brads! :) Sometimes when I start....I just can't stop!

Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Until next time...
Blessings...

Our Girls

Hello all!

Okay so even though the middle picture (of my daughter) is not the best in the world (blurry), I had to scrap this page! I had a pic of my sisters daughter, mine and our friend's daughter all on the same day....just couldn't pass up the chance at getting them all on one page together :)

This is my first page to use sequins on! I LOVE it! (I know, I'm behind...LOL)
I also love my new SU punch (the little pink pretties)
I cut my banner out of some glitter card stock from DCWV along with the ticket.

Here is a close up of a few things.

This is my creation for today's Twisted Tuesday challenge. We were to "play bingo" Use a letter on your creation (other than your sentiment or title). The Twist is you must also use a number on your creation. My background paper has the grid letters and numbers on it. Also, my ticket has numbers on it.

I am entering this page in the following challenges:

I used the sketch over at

Use flowers on your layout
My flowers are in the banner, the pink punch outs and the chipboard sticker (orange and white).

Thanks for visiting!

Until next time...

Yummy, Cake Smash!

1st Birthday pics are the best! Well, Presley didn't like it that much. LOL

It took her a while to get "in the mood" to get dirty! ha

I just realized that my title piece looks a lot like her cake! *giggle*

I used the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time...

1 ~ 2 ~ 3 Get Scrappy!

Hi all!

I wanted to let you in on some exciting news! I have a new challenge blog! This blog will be for all you scrapbookers out there.

We will have monthly challenges starting August 10th.
Our concept is to have a new "tic tac toe" type board each month. You will use 3 in a row, across, down or diagonal. Each square will have a different scrappy item/technique/theme for you to choose from. You can enter each challenge up to 3 times and you can combine the 1 ~ 2 ~ 3 Get Scrappy challenges with as many other challenges as you'd like. We want you to have lots of fun! :)

We have a DT call going on now through July 31st. Come on over and check us out!

Until next time...

A Mysterious Read?

It's time to reveal the Mystery yet again. For this round, Barb sent us an image I had never seen before. So, I was excited to color it :)
I think this will make a great card to give along with a book or amazon gift card. You know?!

Since the image was book related I had to use script paper! :)
I used Spectrum markers to color the image.
Also used my deckled rectangle Spellbinders die around the image.

Here's a close up of the inside and button accent.

Thanks for visiting!
I can't wait to see what cards I get back from my Mysterious swapping friends. :)

Until next time...
Blessings...

He's a Puddle Duck!

It's Summer time and I'm scrapping Summer pages.....ahhhhhh, gotta love it! :)
Aaron loves the water. I'm surprised I caught these photos....he is so on the run all the time!

I used the Bo Bunny collection Key Lime
(the little camera is from Studio Calico)

I also added some speckles with a stamp on the background.

I used the sketch over at Paper Secrets

Paper Secrets have a little twist to their challenges (all of you know how much I love twists!!!!) :)
for this challenge they want to see a "project life" card on your page. I added mine beside the two photos of Aaron.

I am also entering this page in the challenge over at Southern Girls
#73 ~ No spoolin' (use nothing from a spool on your creation ~ my stitching above the pics is faux)
Southern Girls also has a DT call going on! Go check it out!

the challenge at The Paper Girls
$35 ~ Journaling Cards

#28 ~ Water

Thank you so much for visiting my little space in blogland. Have a great day!

Cool Creations

It's Dueling time again!
Yep, the Dueling Darling teams (Divas and Dazzlers) are at it again. This time the theme is Cool Creations. Debbie sent the Dazzler team one cute kit. I love all the yellows and pinks in there....and that image! Just too cute.

Here's what I made:

Okay, so I hope you can tell what I did at first glance of my card but if it's not evident.....I cut the image smaller than usual and put the neat little straw accent behind it at an angle and then placed the flower embellishments on the corner of the image to make it look like the glass, with the straw and flower on the edge of the glass?.....get it......no.....oh well, I tried. :)

I loved working with this kit Debbie!
I wanted to do a strip of the dp at an angle (like I've been seeing all the popular girls do *giggle*). I liked that so much that I added a piece of the ribbon she sent on the bottom edge of the panel too.

I colored my image with Spectrum markers. I do believe the wood was weathered all in the same place on the front of that cute lemonade stand. (duh......I'm so blond when it comes to shading).

Debbie asked us to name our favorite summer time treat along with our post today. Mine would have to be watermelon. My daughter and myself are the only ones that eat it in our house (the boys gag.....they can't stand it) so when we get one....we eat on it all week! :) Yummmmmm!

Thanks for stopping by today. Please check out the other Dueling Darling creations for this "cool" theme. Their blogs are listed in my left sidebar.

Supplies in kit:
DP & Ribbon:  Ice Cream Parlor by Stampin' Up!
Image:  Good Ol' Summertime by Stampin' Up!
Paper Straw: A Muse
Buttons & Flowers: SU! and Michael's or Joanns

Pearl Trim and Vintage Butterflies

Hi!

I'm back with a little mini album I created a few months back but haven't shared it here on my blog.
I used a Prima collection I got at Scrapbooking with M.E. Boutique on FB (their link is in my right sidebar).

and I love recycling packaging to make my chipboard pieces. This is what this album looked like before I decorated it! :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog!

Baby Gifts

Hello!
It's Tuesday I hope you will join us at Twisted Tuesday challenges. This go 'round we want to see something that begins with an "I" on your creation (ink being the easiest). The Twist is we also want to see you use an embossing folder. We want to see all that pretty embossing!

Here's what I did....

My "I" is ink, iridescent pearls & inchies (the little white punched pieces). I cut a large circle from kraft c/s with my Cricut then ran it through the Big Shot with the bubble Cuttlebug embossing folder. I also inked it with some tea stain distress ink from Tim Holtz.

I used the sketch at Sketches in Thyme.

I always end up making my pieces so much larger than the sketches show.....hmmmmmmmm.
Oh well.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Until next time...
Blessings...

Zella, Zella, She's Our GAL!

On the 5th of each month we honor one of our GALS in the Crafty Gals Blog Group (on SCS). Our Crafty Gal for July is Zella! I love how Zella uses hearts. I found them in posts on her blog
and Here

So, that's what I decided to do, use hearts! Thanks Zella for the inspiration!!!
We love seeing your bright, cheerful creations each week! :)

I went with the sketch over at Stuck?!

and added a few little leaves to my page (in the flower punch outs) to go along with the

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
I can't wait to see how the other Crafty Gals were inspired by Zella this month! :)
